DFTG 1309 Basic Computer-Aided Drafting (2-4-3)
An introduction to computer-aided drafting. Emphasis is placed on setup; creating and modifying geometry; storing and retrieving predefined shapes; placing, rotating, and scaling objects, adding text and dimensions, using layers, coordinating systems and plot/print to scale.

Instruction in interpreting data for effective problem solving and recommending corrective action with emphasis on a structured approach to critical thinking and problem solving in a team environment.

Theory and practices involved in computer peripherals, operation and maintenance techniques, and the use of specialized test equipment. Emphasis is placed on the theory of operation and maintenance of computer peripheral devices.
